We are excited to introduce Svetlana Bushuieva as the newest member of the Let’s Recruit team!
Svetlana joined us late last month as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on board.
To help you get to know her a little better, we caught up with Svetlana to ask her a few fun, quick-fire questions about her career, her passions, and what she's enjoyed about her time at Lets Recruit so far.
1. What first got you into recruitment?
Recruitment was part of my responsibilities at my first job, although it wasn't the main focus. Later, when I had to switch industries, I started looking for something I would truly enjoy doing. As you can imagine, changing careers after six years of experience in another field wasn’t easy. But my earlier interest in recruitment helped me dive deeper into it and continue developing in this area. And I found that I really enjoyed it. So here I am!
2. What part of your role are you really passionate about?
It may sound simple or even a bit cliche, but I’m truly passionate about helping people find their dream job and improve their lives, as we spend a significant part of our lives at work. There’s something incredibly rewarding when you hear that someone is happy, thriving in the right role, and even grateful to you for being a part of that journey.
3. What is your proudest achievement in your career so far?
I recently realised how many meaningful connections I’ve built through recruitment. For me, it is something I’m really proud of. One of my biggest achievements is having candidates come back to me long after our work together is done. Some reach out for advice, some just to catch up, or send a message just to wish me a Merry Christmas. That ongoing trust and connection mean a lot. It gives me the feeling that I’m doing something right.
4. What drew you to join Lets Recruit?
I really appreciated the quick and transparent hiring process, and I was impressed by the people I met during the interviews. It definitely aligns with my personal approach.
5. How have you found your time with us so far?
I haven't had the chance to speak with everyone yet. I'm looking forward to the meeting in Derby in June. However, I can't help but mention the friendly and very cheerful atmosphere at the office in South Shields.
6. What one thing are you excited to bring to Lets Recruit
I’m good at cooking, so you’ll definitely get a taste of Ukrainian cuisine.
If seriously, it feels like the beginning of something exciting for me. I’ll try to bring my passion for building strong relationships with candidates and clients. I hope to contribute to the team by helping to build even more trust and long-lasting connections.
7. What’s a fun fact about you that people might not know?
I lived in five different countries within just one year.
